Elaine Cooper’s Original Art

I started my career in art as a textile designer & have been around colour and texture all my working life. I have been a professional artist for many years now working in both classical and naive styles but have always been drawn to landscape whether it is the high streets or rolling hills. I’ve been fortunate enough to have enjoyed much success with my work. In early years was lucky enough to join Solomon & Whitehead which led to me becoming a listed artist with a gallery following.  

Styles have changed over the years and I have embraced those new trends as this site will testify. I invite you to have a look around and view my differing styles & subjects. I try to paint what’s around me sometimes with added humour as in my Lumpy Crumpet Gallery, or maybe you would prefer the strong contemporary colours of my open fields in the heat of the summer sun in the landscape Gallery. There is a lot to see and much to choose from.

I work in acrylics and oils on canvas, my work is available through selected galleries nationwide.
